Bludarious De'Tempoon
Bludarious was born and raised in eastern Dixie in a small human farm town in the Swamps of Bayoo. Over the course of his life he became accustomed to the constant fighting and war between the Eastern Nations. When "Blu" was 14, an Amazonian raiding party came to his home town looking for all the first born sons and military aged males and he was forcefully conscripted into the Amazonian Navy. He and a few dozen "recruits" were put on a train to Savannah and were processed. After receiving their Amazonian "loyalty" brand, uniforms and arms, they were given a crash course in armed combat and sent to the front lines.
Most of the recruits didn’t believe in the wars to begin with and a small group stayed alive by hanging towards the back of the company and attending to the wounded, repairing and cleaning arms and running errands back and forth between officers. Blu made fast friends with a supply officer that grew up in the Dixielands. He spent the most of his conscription building, repairing and customizing weapons for the cavalry and other specialized companies, and of course had to test them all, gaining notoriety among those in power for his keen marksman skills.
After his mandatory 8 years of conscription was up, he was offered a voluntary enlistment contract. He hadn’t seen his family since his conscription and requested leave before he made his decision. When he returned home, he found his home had been wiped out with minimal survivors. Houses burned to the ground, women and children murdered, livestock killed, fields burned to the soil. An old drunk told him that the Cordobans had come through and wiped out everything and everyone, suspecting the town of being Amazonian sympathizers.
Having gone through his entire conscription not caring about the war and never picking a side, a new hatred for Cordoba ignited in his heart and that would define his path from then on.
Returning to his commander, Blu demanded that if he enlist that he would get to kill as many Cordobans as possible. He was made a Second Lieutenant in the Cavalry division and given command of a small unit specializing in guerrilla tactics. His hatred and desire for vengeance fueled his success in battle. His unit killed with impunity, maiming, torturing and desecrating anyone they came in contact with that supported Cordoba. Blu's unit started receiving lots of attention from the brass for their efficiency and Blu was quickly promoted to Lieutenant and put in charge of a special weapons unit. The brutal carnage continued.
For six years Blu's campaign of carnage found him all over East America and the Caribbean Sea. His anger had multiplied into a rage driven suicide mission. It was no longer about mission success, it was about body count. Grim words spread of the "Bloody Blues" unit throughout both Amazonian and Cordoban ranks.
During an ambush attempt The "Bloody Blues" were outnumbered and outgunned, but blinded by his own personal rage, Blu gave the order to proceed as planned. When the last shot rang out on the battlefield, Bludarious was the only survivor. Bloodsoaked and engulfed with hatred, all he could see was the mixing blood of his friends and enemies. This battle would later become known as "Blu's Blunder".
For his colossal failure as a commander, Amazonian Command "promoted" Blu to the rank of captain and relegated him to administrative duties in Petrolina. This didn’t sit well with him and instead of capitulating to their desire to tame him, Blu resigned his commission to further pursue his personal vendetta against Cordoba however he saw fit.
